TEST
1. When gripping the golf club in the top hand, which is the best frame of reference?

It is exciting to be connected to the new GOLF SCIENCE CENTRE, 308 Bay Road, Cheltenham, Victoria. This allows me to deliver lessons in Melbourne in a precise and controlled environment to students looking to build or recover their own best golf swing on a consistent basis.
This State of the Art Indoor Learning Centre has one of the best Golf Simulators available along with the precision Club Making and Repair/Retro Fitting facility of the Henry Griffitts and Bridgestone Golf Companies.
Sean Kirchenberg is the owner of this very special Golf Education and Training facility and his goal is to offer the best in both golf instruction and equipment evaluation and fitting for all.
I am available to give lessons on a Thursday afternoon/evening and Fridays 9am to 5pm.

The Dunes Golf Links Cups Classic
On October 12, The Dunes Golf Links held its 3rd Cups Classic and a full field of 150 plus players teed it up to compete in this unique 9 hole Championship.
This year it was Ben Croker who shot a 32 to edge past John Curtain who shot 33 in windy conditions and with tight pin positions making the course a real links challenge for all. Rhys Harris shot 34 to take out the 2nd place amateur prize. It was a thrill for Ben to win his first amateur Open event, even though only a 9 hole sprint.
Club Championship at The Dunes:
Tom Stewart was a convincing winner of the Dunes Club Championship with rounds of 74, 72, 73. ----- In the final round Tom hit 17 of the 18 greens in regulation under a testing 25 mph north wind and with the tough pin positions, he managed 35 putts. This is 2 times in a row for the talented 20 year old and is a great testament to his strength of character as he has been recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome over the past few years. Tom has been playing seriously for only 3 years and his main sport prior to his illness was squash and his talent was shining there also as he was ranked #1 in Australia in his age group for 6 years in a row and 6 times Victorian Champion. His ability to focus in squash is carrying through to his golf game and again hearty congratulations to this champion golfer.
Golf News from The Dunes Juniors:
The Dunes Junior Club Championship was held on Saturday October 25 and November 1, 2008 and 33 juniors competed. At the end of 18 holes, Luke Beattie (70) lead from Cohen Gray (71). In equal third place on 73 were Drew Beattie and Ben Croker. Josh Stephens lead the net with an outstanding net 54. Kirsty Horne lay in second place with a net 57. In third place in the net was Matt Jones. Going into the second and final round 6 juniors were within 6 shots of the lead.
In the final round it came down to a head to head between Luke Beattie, Cohen Gray, and Ben Croker with 9 hole to play. Ben Croker played the best 9 holes he has ever played to shot 30 on the back 9 to Cohen Gray's 34 and won by 5 shots.
Final Scores: Ben Croker - 73, 65 - Cohen Gray - 71, 72 - Luke Beatie - 70, 76
Josh Stephens won the net event with a net total of 18 under - 114. Kirsty Horne was second with a net total of 117.
