GOLF TIP OF THE WEEK

It has been said that our golf swing is as unique as our thumb print and in many ways it is.
However there is a basic geometry to the golf swing mechanically and for "people shaped golfers" these alignments are constant from one golfer to the next.

"To have real practical use any theory, method or idea has to be converted to something “felt” by the player. No amount of data or concepts can sucessfully implant the sensation of a correctly performed movement in the body of the player.

Information can only be downloaded into something feelable through sensation and not through vocal or written instruction.

I have achieved results using the CGS drills that could never have been made using self interpreted language (such as trying to make changes to your swing during a lesson in real time whilst being taught). My initial approach as a teacher was to analyse the weak aspects of students swings and use the drills to improve these common mistakes. During time I realized that nothing more than the drills, which are the body of this system, are required to teach the motion of the golf swing to a willing student."
