Lesson of the Week
DISPELLING THE ILLUSION OF THE LATE HIT
The discovering of the cause of the “Late Hit” was a major breakthrough in golf coaching. Jack Nicklaus and Fred Couples had said it before. It took this explanation getting the Cover Story in the Masters Issue of Golf Digest, 1995 to have Golf Instructors such as David Leadbetter endorse the Concept when he wrote in his article in October Issue of Golf Digest Magazine, 1996 “that 9 out of 10 golfers would do better to throw the clubhead right from the top.’
This, when combined with the “A to B” Direction of Hit, produces the Late Hit. Study the video explanation to gain a greater understanding of this powerful Concept.
