I have for a long time wondered why some people are prepared to follow through after a positive result from their lesson in the Croker Golf System and others back away?

The Movie – The Matrix – came to mind and when given a choice between taking the “Red Pill” and following a path to a deeper understanding or the “Blue Pill” and remain the effect of the status quo, many take the “Blue Pill.”

My mind opened up to the possibilities as to why some golfers are willing to take the journey and others closed to the idea that there may be a better path and a better way to learn and play this great game of golf.

In the Matrix, Neo chose the “Red Pill” – Will you do the same and chose the “Red Pill” and see how far the Croker Golf System can take you towards more knowledge and a better golf swing and more fun playing the game of a lifetime – GOLF.

What prompted this reflection on the willingness of golfers to take the steps necessary to be on a path that will take them to their golfing dreams is this insightful email sent to me by a long term friend and student of our Croker Golf System (he had swallowed the “Red Pill” early days and is enjoying his golf at every opportunity

I share his email below and hope it encourages you to take the “Red Pill” too.

“Hey Peter,

Well, I’m still buzzing about the Tiger win at The Masters.  Definitely, the win heard around the world!
Of particular interest for me was the UNPRESSURED way he just walked around and did his business.  He was down the rankings of fairways hit and putts made, but number one in Greens in Regulation.  He knew the course and knew the pressures, and just stayed patient.  He played very smart golf, not trying to win the game on every hole.
This got me thinking about the Datum of competence being the ability to do what you’re doing while you’re doing it.
Talk about focus.  Everyone but Tiger was playing against Tiger (and themselves.) Tiger was just doing what he was doing while he was doing it.
There is the game of golf, the game of winning, the game of doing better than anyone else… but the REAL game is the game of doing what you’re doing while you’re doing it.
You’re not gripping the club so you can do something else.  You’re gripping the club to grip the club.  You’re not starting the swing so you can end in the position at the top that you need.  You’re just starting the swing.
The thing I love about your method is that it breaks the whole thing down so someone can master each part, and do what he’s doing while he’s doing it.  The result of all of this, when it’s put together, is to ENJOY THE HIT!
The rest all comes to those who focus on what they are doing while they are doing it.
Problems occur when you’re doing things you don’t know you’re doing!
I hope this finds you well and happy.
Mark
